Bought VW caddy from Exeter diesels very happy with the vehicle and the staff where very professional. However had a slight problem with the sliding door mechanism so phoned them straight away no staff available which was totally expected considering the difficult times of Covid 19. My experience at Exeter Diesels was superb. I wasn’t badgered or hounded to buy a car, the knowledge of the young lady sales person was extremely good and in my view, the package from the apr rate to the RAC premium protection they give you is excellent. I have since had to call them about a couple of things since buying the car only to find there after sales is as good as the purchashing experience. Most highly recommended.

Great car dealer, bought a 3 year old car from them last year. I’ve put at least 10000 miles on the clock in less than a year and the car has been perfect. I was given plenty of coffee throughout the day and the staff were polite and not too pushy.
They managed to give me a quicker pickup day, than originally agreed, so I could take the car on a trip.
I took the car back after a few months of owning it because I was unsure about a noise I heard, they were happy to investigate and put my mind at ease. Just something I had not heard in a car before.
I have just taken the car back to Exeter Diesels for its annual service and was very surprised when they presented me with a bill a lot cheaper than expected!

There is a saying “they’re on the ‘be back’ bus , they wont be back” and they are talking about you, so they WANT YOU to buy today. Yes, it is true, that the car they have today is here today and may not be here tomorrow, but unless it really is something exclusive, there is always another one around the corner or tomorrow. Know what you want and go and buy it. Do your home work! They’re service is better than many and they will always give you a warm welcome. Once you’ve bought a car the salesman has done his job and bye bye till next time. Next please!

Over the years we have purchased several of our family cars from Exeter Diesels and thought it was about time we sent a review! The sales staff are very helpful, friendly and efficient (the coffee isn’t bad either!) and the after sales service we have received has been excellent. We shopped around every garage looking for the best deal and very rarely do you get it, either you pay too much for the car or you don’t get a good price for your part-exchange. We found each time that the car we were buying was the best value for money with a really good part exchange price so all in all the deal was always the best overall at Exeter Diesels, that’s why we end up always going back and if we ever have had a problem they don’t mess about, it is sorted straightaway without fuss.
